Alicia is incredibly professional, personable, and was a great teacher.  We hired her to help us out before our wedding ceremony in December. We had never had any sort of dance lessons and she actually made us look fairly presentable in only one lesson without ever making us feel embarrassed about having no idea what we were doing!  She even stayed patient the ENTIRE time I was trying to get the rumba turn - I was a little slow at that :)   She started out with some basic dance steps and by the end of about a 3 hour session she had taught us an entire choreographed dance to our wedding song  It was clear she put a lot of thought into the choreography beforehand.  She was very flexible with scheduling, very reasonably priced, and a lot of fun to work with.  I would highly recommend her - whether you have a special event coming up or just want a fun night out.

The program at Starstruck Studios is amazing! In only a few lessons we learned so much and had so much fun! John and Alicia make beautiful dancing easy for everyone. "My husband and I decided to take dance lessons in preparation for a cruise vacation.  We did not give our dance instructor, Alicia Aros, much to start with as neither my husband nor I had EVER taken lessons before and are both hopelessly uncoordinated.  But, to our credit, we both like to have fun!  In the few months we trained with Alicia, we learned basic steps to the Hustle, Salsa, Rumba and Cha-Cha well enough to shake it up on the cruise and we received an introduction to many other dances.  We are so grateful to Alicia for her professionalism, energy, knowledge and, most of all, patience as she taught us to dance.  My husband and I now look forward to hitting the dance floor every chance we get!  Thank you, Alicia!"
